Crocheted Easter Eggs

I'm so happy to share these free Easter Egg patterns with you! These little eggs are super fun and quick to make — perfect as Easter decorations, basket fillers, or small handmade gifts.

The pattern includes three different designs: Stripes and Dots, Vertical Stripes, and Horizontal Stripes. Each one uses two colors and creates a unique look!

Materials

  • Crochet hook: 4.5 mm
  • Yarn: #6 super bulky chenille (I used YarnArt Dolce)
  • Fiberfill

Abbreviations

  • ch — chain
  • slst — slip stitch
  • sc — single crochet
  • inc — increase (2 single crochet in one stitch)
  • dec — decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)

Each egg uses two colors. For black text use the 1st colour. For blue text use the 2nd colour.

  • Rnd 1: 6sc
  • Rnd 2: 6inc
  • Rnd 3: 12sc
  • Rnd 4: (sc, inc)*6
  • Rnd 5: (sc, sc)*9

Fasten off and weave in ends. Stuff with fiberfill before closing.
